The newest PhotoFutures acquisition is here! PhotoFutures students chose Gideon Mendel’s 2015 Francisca Chagas dos Santos, Taquari District, Rio Branco, Brazil to add to the permanent collection of the Snite Museum. Participants chose this image to stimulate teaching and research on climate change and as a superb visual reminder of the myriad effects of the environmental crisis around the globe.
